Dear parents
It is a parent’s obligation to be as well informed as possible regarding the schools to which they would entrust the education of their children. Therefore we hope this site will prove that Anetopoulou-Hutton Language Schools deserve your trust. Reference is made to our beliefs, our methods, our organization, as well as to those who work with us, and the hard work we all put into the running of our schools.
We endeavour to provide high quality education not only in the disciplines taught but also promote multicultural awareness, which we consider necessary in today’s world of globalization. Our efforts focus on transforming a plain interest in the taught languages into a love of the discipline and desire to acquire knowledge.
We put emphasis on covering the necessary syllabus per level, yet we ask to take from the students their best in terms of their ability.
We consider homework necessary, but we avoid making it burdensome. We encourage our learners to read books in the language they learn, many of which can be found in the school’s library.
Understanding the underlying reasons behind the low performance of some learners is of paramount importance to us if we are to help them overcome their difficulties and reach their full potential.
Respect for each other plays an important role in our schools. Our learners are awarded respect from all members of staff and are expected to show an equal amount of respect to their elders as well as to their fellow students.
We monitor the students’ progress throughout the year and we record their daily improvement so as to adjust the lessons to their needs and to keep the parents well informed. Frequent teacher meetings, during which the needs of all the students are discussed, are a norm.
Term grades are given out at parent-teacher meetings throughout the year. These meetings provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to discuss the performance of their children directly with the course teachers.
In the pages of this site you will be able to find detailed information on many issues, which you ought to be aware of, before you decide to register with us.
We are sure that after your visit to our site you will agree that a visit to one of our schools with a view to furthering your child's education with us is a step in the right direction.
